Thyristor & Furnace Controllers
The thyristor controller is what PHASECON has built since 1980. We assemble and test single- and three-phase units here in Centurion — from small element-heat controllers to 2000 A furnace stacks — and we still support the ones we shipped decades ago.
Precise power control that lasts
A thyristor controller meters the power reaching a resistive or inductive load by switching high-current SCRs many times a second. Ours run in two modes: phase-angle control for smooth, continuous regulation, and burst-fire for element and furnace loads where a cleaner mains draw matters.
Because every furnace, kiln and heat-treatment line is different, we size each controller to the duty rather than the price list. Tell us the voltage, current and load type and we build to it — chassis-mount to drop into your panel, or supplied complete in a box or cabinet.
